The 2021 Nuits Saint-Georges Clos des Grands Vignes Rouge 1er Cru has an attractive nose, darker fruit than Aux Cras, iodine and touches of vanilla pod. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, silky smooth with orange zest infused red and blueberry fruit. Persistent on the high-toned finish, this will give up to 15 years' drinking pleasure, possibly longer.
